An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pupil Engagement Assistants to join High Point Academy, a brand-new purpose built special free school in Friar Park, Wednesbury. Our new Academy will grow to educate up to 90 pupils aged 11-16 years with autism and moderate learning difficulties. High Point is part of Forward Education Trust, a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midland area.
Our Pupil Engagement Assistants provide vital support at lunchtime working collaboratively as a member of the school team assisting in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of pupils through appropriate engagement in school activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and assisting pupils with autism. We want staff who are confident, patient, nurturing and who want to help us to support our pupils to thrive and develop.
