An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pupil Engagement Assistants to join High Point Academy, a brand-new purpose built special free school in Friar Park, Wednesbury. Our new Academy will grow to educate up to 90 pupils aged 11-16 years with autism and moderate learning difficulties. High Point is part of Forward Education Trust, a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midland area.

Our Pupil Engagement Assistants provide vital support at lunchtime working collaboratively as a member of the school team assisting in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of pupils through appropriate engagement in school activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and assisting pupils with autism. We want staff who are confident, patient, nurturing and who want to help us to support our pupils to thrive and develop.

    Administration Assistant Level 2

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit an Administration Assistant to play a key role at High Point Academy, part of Forward Education Trust, a growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midlands area.

    The successful candidate will be professional, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be able to multitask and manage a varied workload prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong ICT, literacy and communication skills.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Provide administrative support to the school Head Teacher, and other school staff
    • Provide receptionist support to the school and be the first point of contact in receiving visitors, staff and pupils to the school
    • Undertake pupil administration to include administering starters, leavers and educational visits
    • Undertake pupil attendance administration
    • Undertake financial administration including raising purchase orders and goods receipting

    The role is term time only.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled classroom teacher who is enthusiastic and motivated to help our students develop and reach their full potential.
