An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our central team at The Forward Education Trust. The Trust was established in 2017 and is a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust serving special schools across the West Midland area.
The successful candidate will support the Finance Officer, Finance Director, and the Executive Leadership Team. They will be responsible for maintaining purchase ledger, advising School based staff, and supporting the Finance Officer in the provision of quality financial information as well as being committed to their ongoing personal development and learning. They will be professional, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be able to multitask and deal accurately with the varied workload. They will have strong ICT, literacy and communication skills and will be good at dealing with people. The successful candidate will have experience of using financial systems or a relevant degree.
