Members of the FET
Constance is an acknowledged leader with detail-oriented personality and work ethic, having years of substantial executive leadership accomplishments in regulatory environment.
Constance has worked as a manager for many years in OFCOM, part of the BT Group PLC.
Constance has lead the operational performance of c.1000 exchanges and delivery of work to agreed budget of £22m.
Gregg Barton B.Sc, M.Sc, MA
Gregg is a Partner and Programme Director with Arcadis, a national design and consultancy company.
He is an experienced professional with over 15 years experience coordinating and delivering complex construction projects, from PFI through to smaller extension schemes. He has been involved in every stage of procurement; as a surveyor, contractor, client, proposer, and project manager.
He has familiarity of both regional and national frameworks, the routes to market and the forms of contracts utilised. He has vast knowledge of the project management and procurement processes, both domestically in the local and national government sector as well as internationally.
Simon Topman MBE DL
Simon is a seasoned professional business executive and non-executive leader with a track record of innovation and success in organisations already established
and in those starting from scratch needing drive and commitment.
Simon is currently the Managing Director of Acme Whistles and the Chairman of Millennium Point in Birmingham.
Simon also hold the position of Honorary Vice President of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
Catherine Canty LLB (Hons)
Kate is currently the Clerk to the Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands which involves working with the business and voluntary sectors across the region, participating in civic activities, acting as liaison with the armed forces and supporting Royal visits to the County.
A qualified solicitor with over 20 years in commercial property law, subsequently becoming a business and property consultant, Kate has a strong background in constitutional law and governance.
Kate has had various voluntary positions in the employment and skills sector in Birmingham and is currently a director of Millennium Point which promotes education in the field of innovation and technology.
Ava Sturridge-Packer CBE, NLE, NPQH
Ava is an awarded educationalist with over thirty years in education.
She has gained considerable skills and knowledge as a successful Executive Head Teacher, National Leader of Education and Director of a teaching school.
More recently she has been working with the Department for Education in an advisory capacity.
Ava sits as a Trustee on two Multi-academy Trusts and is an advisor to Birmingham Education Partnership.
