Constance is an acknowledged leader with detail-oriented personality and work ethic, having years of substantial executive leadership accomplishments in regulatory environment. Constance has worked as a manager for many years in OFCOM, part of the BT Group PLC. Constance has lead the operational performance of c.1000 exchanges and delivery of work to agreed budget of £22m.
Amil Khan BA (Hons), PgDL
Trustee - April 2017 to present
Amil’s professional background is in public affairs and policy, with his career including research, campaigning, and stakeholder engagement with individuals and organisations from across a broad range of sectors.
Amil has been a governor at a special school which has enabled him to acquire considerable experience in the area of school governance. His responsibilities as a governor include serving as Vice-Chair of the Full Governing Body, chairing the Finance and Buildings Subcommittee, as well as being the lead governor for Health and Safety.
Amil also serves as a Non-Executive Director of the Warwickshire Cricket Board and produces regular columns for the Birmingham Post.
Simon Topman MBE DL
Simon is a seasoned professional business executive and non-executive leader with a track record of innovation and success in organisations already established
and in those starting from scratch needing drive and commitment. Simon is currently the Managing Director of Acme Whistles and the Chairman of Millennium Point in Birmingham. Simon also hold the position of Honorary Vice President of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
Catherine Canty LLB (Hons)
Kate is currently the Clerk to the Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands which involves working with the business and voluntary sectors across the region, participating in civic activities, acting as liaison with the armed forces and supporting Royal visits to the County.
A qualified solicitor with over 20 years in commercial property law, subsequently becoming a business and property consultant, Kate has a strong background in constitutional law and governance.
Kate has had various voluntary positions in the employment and skills sector in Birmingham and is currently a director of Millennium Point which promotes education in the field of innovation and technology.
